Summit Scaffolding Northland encourages, as part of our Company policy, the opportunity for operators to attain Certificates of Competence for Scaffolding in New Zealand.

As a result we are very proud to confirm all Summit scaffolders have current Site Safe cards and the Working at Height Unit Standard 23229 as a minimum certification.

Training our Summit Scaffolding Team, Northland for Residential / Commercial / Industrial / Scaffolding equipment Northland region beyond the standard levels of competence ensures an on going positive working relationship with our clients which is supported fully by our management team who are focussed on delivering excellent service and communication in the office, onsite and with customers.

Company Director: John Scott

John completed his advanced scaffolder training in 1987 whilst working in and around Portsmouth, UK as a chargehand. John was involved in all aspects of scaffolding including residential, commercial and marine.

He holds a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding and a Site Safe Gold Card. John has a wealth of knowledge and experience and has been involved with large feature projects such as Auckland Hospital, Sky City Convention Centre, University of Auckland Business School, Stamford Plaza and Eden Park.

Director: Bruce Pickerill

Bruce began his scaffolding career in 1986 in Sydney, Australia where he worked predominantly on high-rise construction. He completed a Scaffolding Class 1 Certificate of Compentency NSW and Bruce also holds a National Certificate in Advanced Scaffolding as well as a Site Safe Gold Card.

His experience is vast and Bruce has been involved with large residential, commerical and petrochemical projects such as Marsden Point Oil Refinery, Portland Cement, Fonterra House, Princes Street and Mt Eden Prison. Along with this Bruce has worked on film industry sets including Xena and Hercules.
